Installation notes

Plan the system around access.

  • The processor is rack-mounted or placed at the control position with ventilation around it.
  • Access is needed at the front for operation and at the rear for source and output connections.
  • Power and data are labeled to match the wall map and the source plan.
  • Commissioning includes source tests, scaling, output mapping and operator orientation.

Product questions

Questions to settle early.

What does a video processor do?

It accepts display sources, scales them to the wall, routes them to the correct outputs and can support content mapping.

Does every wall need the same processor?

No. The wall size, source count, output format and control approach determine the processor configuration.

Can ATGEN include it in the wall design?

Yes. Processing is reviewed with the display, playback sources and commissioning plan so the system works as one package.
